This project is typical of a number of bungalow kitchen remodels we have done. The existing, previously remodeled kitchen was out of date and cluttered with soffits over the window and stove. In addition, a small laundry room interrupted the flow between the kitchen and the backyard as well. We removed an interior wall, but largely left the kitchen layout intact. In this case, materials details and some relatively small structural modifications made all the difference.
